My Trip Ka? Tara Lets, I-Blog Mo! – Boracay Fest ‘11

A’ight so now I’m here writing my very first blog on this site. And it’s worth it because I’ll blog my experience in the beautiful island of Boracay! Currently, Boracay has been named as the fourth best tourist destination all over the world. (It definitely deserved that place!)

Malayo naman sa formal article writing and blog posts, yehey at pwedeng mag-tagalog! Well what can I say? Recently, our company had this summer getaway, or should I say “Huling hirit sa tag-init!” We had our fair share of summer getaway early this June when we raided the shores of Boracay!

“Bora,” as it is being called by several people, mind you, is one of best places I’ve been into so far. The experience was a blast regardless if I didn’t get the chance to try different expeditions Boracay has to offer.

Serenity at its best

Before actually reaching the shores of Boracay ( I will use “Bora” only once on this blog because natives find the word as an insult for their precious island.) If it served my memory well, from Bataan to the “actual” Boracay; you will travel for like 11 hours. Tama ba?

Anyways, kapag naman narating mo na ang world famous white sand beach, all your exhaustion and toxic-ness  (if that’s the word) will be replaced by total happiness and the most serene feeling.

Kuya Franz show off!

Aside from the fact that you are spending your time in this world-class beach; maraming temptation. (Teka, teka. Ano ba ang iniisip mo kapag sinabing temptation?) There are so many great deals in Boracay, as it has been commercialized for the past few years.

Jump Shot

Moving on, let’s cut to the chase and let me tell you that Boracay was fun! Even though I just strolled on the beach all by myself; I enjoyed it. Iba talaga yung feeling ng nasa Boracay ka, actual na nasa tubigan, compared to other beaches I have stumbled upon.

Then it came to me, “Masarap pala sa Boracay yung kasama mo yung love mo.” Actually, that’s not a big deal for me. Mind you, also if you want for your stay to be worthier; allot loads of money because the cost of living is wayyyy too high! But still, I can say that our company has really enjoyed Boracay.

Until Next Time Bora!

However, I will recommend Boracay for every person who wants to get the best out of their lives. Kahit once lang, pwedeng pwede siya for your family, loved-ones and even your barkada. From the scale of one to ten where ten is the highest, I will give Boracay a hard nine!

Time To Shine

Personally, I want to go back to Boracay but the next time I will go; for sure meron na akong kasama na ano. (Evil laugh)

Blankets Of Memories

Trip To Boracay

As early as 2005 we already planned to visit Boracay Island but I don’t know why every time we planned to visit Boracay hindi natutuloy.  Finally today natuloy din, our original plan is to go to Kalibo Aklan to attend the yearly celebration of Ati-atihan festival. But I change my mind when I learned that it cost me 8,000 – 11,000 per night for the hotel accommodation.  I decided that instead of staying at Kalibo sa Boracay nalang kami mag stay mas mura ang per night which cost us 12K for 4 nights I guess.

Early today kami umalis ng Balanga Bataan, dumating kami ng Pasay City around 10 AM. Pagbaba namin sa bus stop may mga naka abang nang taxi, sumakay naman kami agad to my surprise they are charging 700 pesos from Edsa to Terminal 3 of Domestic Airport.

Ito na yung medyo hassle bago ka makarating ng Boracay, which most of those who already goes to Boracay didn’t mentioned.
